About IQAC
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in a college plays a crucial role in ensuring the continuous improvement of the institution’s academic and administrative performance. Established as a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure, the IQAC is responsible for developing a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the college.
Objectives of IQAC
- Enhance Academic Standards: The primary goal of the IQAC is to enhance and maintain high academic standards within the institution. This includes curriculum development, teaching methodologies, and assessment practices.
- Promote Quality Culture: IQAC fosters a culture of quality by promoting innovative practices and initiatives across all aspects of college life, from teaching and learning to governance and administration.
- Documentation and Reporting: The IQAC is responsible for documenting various activities and programs of the institution, ensuring that records are meticulously maintained. It also prepares the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR), which is submitted to the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
